I am not looking to be apart of a mil-sim, just looking to be an explosive specialist/EOD Personel for a group or unit that require one. Semi-Sim is okay but no full on mil-sim

Hey man, I'm part of a ArmA unit that plays just about everyday. We play everything from large-scale modern day milsim co-op to role play zombie survival, Adversarial team vs team missions and even large-scale world war 2 co-op missions. We don't lock ourselves into one type of game style or faction. We focus mostly on immersion, excitement, variety, and fun all while utilizing military tactics, structure and precision in-game. We embody the term "Serious Fun."

Our games consist typically of between 20-40 players depending on the event. (Our largest events are Wednesday, Friday and Saturday Nights).

We don't have any Milsim garbage - No recruitment process, no forms to fill out or red tape, no bootcamp, no ranks or any of that nonsense. All you have to do is download our mods and join the server.

We can always use more Engineer/EOD specialists.

If you're looking for immersive large-scale military missions with lots of players and exciting gameplay. Look no further.

The 8th Infantry Division is a Light NATO milsim unit that is focused on having fun. We want to provide some realism and profesionalism while not taking things to seriously and forgetting that this is a game and is all for fun. He asked because your post makes no sense. No such thing as Semi-Sim. You have Milsim and Casual groups. Then Milsim are broken into 3 types normally. Serious, Semi-Serious, and Relaxed (borderline Casual). So, for example, I run a Semi-Serious WW2 Milsim.

Im reopening GSEC this weekend. It’s going to be a slow launch and a small unit to begin with. But it will be just a realistic and as enjoyable as before but this time it will be 16+ age restricted and rules will be strictly followed. We are all here to have a good time. There is no exact mod pack yet. I’ll work on that the rest of this week. But if you are interested I’m hosting a numbers meeting at 7:30GMT this Saturday where we just discuss where we are planning on taking this. And if the mod pack is set up then maybe a little training. If you are interested let me know. There will be all infantry roles and a lot of aviation roles avalable. I even need a co-leader to run my infantry Thanks.

Disclaimer: 3rd Special Forces Group is a well established unit, which will be based on maturity, cohesion, and tactics. No fancy ACR's or Quad NVG's. Good men, and good games. We are veteran owned and veteran operated with over 70% of our members being vets, active duty or first responders.

What We Strive to Accomplish: The 3rd Special Forces Group (3rd SFG), will be a small tight knit community centered on good laughs and realistic game play. The core focus of the group will be small unit tactics and solid communication. We do not use a ranking system and will follow a chain of command based on position.

Training: We are looking for the best we can find. We will accept no less through our doors. We have a small but rigorous selection process for our unit, not “bootcamp” or “SOI”. If you pass you will be selected as a Candidate for our group, with full permissions. Once you prove yourself and earn an MOS, you will earn a permanent spot in our ODA. There is no basic training here, if you don't know your stuff, you need not apply.

Operations (Wednesdays and Sundays at 2000est): Been to CLAfgan 50 times this week to fight "ISIS"? Not here. Operations will span the Arma Verse and put our members up against Conventional and Unconventional Threats. From Ultra Nationalist in Chenarus to the Cartel In Tanoa. We will have a wide variety of mission based on the specific Special Forces skill set, not one of an Infantry Company.

Requirements: Everyone will be considered on a case by case basis. I am looking for Active/Former Military/Police or VERY experienced arma players. You must be 18 or above NO EXCEPTIONS. You must be patient and willing to help, we are a small group and we plan on staying that way. Everyone must bring something to the table.
