Looking for PvE Group/Casual Milsim

Been playing the game for some time, and my favorite gameplay is hands down Invade & Annex.

My favorite role is UAV operator, but I also enjoy CLS, flying heavy lift helicopters, and even being part of scout/sniper teams. Unfortunately, most public servers have zero teamwork or team players at all, and become mostly just zergfests.

Means I drive the medic truck all the way out to the AO, just to get blown up because the guy in the tank doesn't cover me, or I carry a mounted system or gun into the AO instead of medpacks, just to watch the medics run past me when I'm hit. Or I launch the darter drone and start to mark targets, just to see-- You get the idea.

So I'm looking for a group to join that can appreciate a team player that does know how to use TS and is willing to play those logistics support roles. Yes, I'll drive the ammo truck or carry crates with the Huron.

My schedule is EU friendly more than US friendly. I get out of work in the mornings, EST.

What I'm not looking for is ultra realism, militant, lots of mods, the words "you need to rank up before you can play as...", or someone that's going to freak out because my mic doesn't go "schtk" after I talk. I'm a filthy casual.

Joining 42 Commando...
Joining 42 Commando is as simple as submitting an application form, visiting our Teamspeak server and having a chat with a community administrator. The community administrator will provide you with all of the information you need to complete the joining process and will advise you on opportunities within the group; both in and out of game. You will also be given a brief overview of your foreseeable future with the group to give you a better idea of how you can expect your experience to pan out.

Commandos in 42 Commando...
The Commando phase consists of a short period in a reserve group where you will gain experience of operating with us as a marine. This period will mean that you are appointed varying positions within the community each week in commando sections where full members may be absent. After a few weeks of this, you will be taken, with a batch of 7 other marines, to be formed up into a full section where you will be given a permanent appointment within our community and will be given your commando dagger.

For people 13 years of age or older, a one month probation period is given to those to waiver them if they're found acceptable to the leadership of the unit.

Overview

We are Milsim Unit based on the game ARMA 3, we are set during the Vietnam War from 1965-1973. We host events weekly using our custom mod pack to give the best experience and immersion. We strive to create an environment that is as realistic as possible and fun at the same time. We believe balancing out realism and fun is essential and as a result we do not call each other by ranks, nor do we call our officers “Sir”. The 1st Cavalry Division consists of 3 branches: The 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, the 71st Company, 145th Aviation Battalion, and a team of MACV-SOG Operators.

The 48th Mechanized


We, the 48th, are a tightly knit community based around the Military Simulation platform Arma 3.

We aim to emulate the Mechanized Infantry Doctrine of the US Army within the limits of Arma, operating by the mantra “Serious in-game, relaxed outside of it” we are all here to have fun and kick some ass.

As mentioned above we generally play as mechanized infantry but do fulfill other roles such as Air Cavalry or Light Infantry to mix it up from time to time.
