Arma 3
Problem occurred when saving Profile data. The File may be set to read-only or can be blocked by another instance of the game (e.g. dedicated Server).
When i start my game: it says = Problem occurred when saving Profile data. The File may be set to read-only or can be blocked by another instance of the game (e.g. dedicated Server).

I tried everything, 1. Re-installed the game. 2. Took the ownership 3. Remove "Read-Only(Wich when I look again, it is on read-only again)"

I hope anyone could tell me how to fix this,

Trying to change the attributes failed because your user-rights are not sufficient.
My suggestion is to create a second account with the current user rights. You can use the ingame options for this.

You always have write access to the configuration when you have created the playerprofile by yourself.

If the read-only attribute is continued, you should check what 3rd party software takes access to your file system (Cr4ck?)
Hey, have you found solution to this thing? I'm having the same problem, can't fix it.
My problem has been solved, my problem was that my pc was connected to a home server. And there were the files. And steam said the files were on my own harddrive. That was the problem for me
You can try the solution I posted in this thread:

Hope it helps!
sonyzes I am having the same issue. I use folder redirection from my win12r2 server for mydocs and other folders on all the pc in my home. I set the permissions to everyone/full control but still no dice
I had the same problem. It started after installing an antivirus (bitdefender). I tried all the suggestions in this and "all the other" pages that you could find about this topic. None worked. I uninstalled the antivirus and the problem ended

Yeah man when the new 2017 of bitdefender came out they had feature that prevented apps from changing files within your protected folder under bitdefender. You can can set arma to be allowed to access and it works for me now.
