How do you make your SELF a player as Zeus?

I've been wondering, because I've done it once or twice before, I placed MYSELF down as a soldier, it said my name was in RED, and I was in the so called 'Free' zeus mode, how do I put myself down as a player?

In zeus, or in editor? If you mean editor, just place down a soldier like normal, and then attach the Game Master module to it.

You can spawn units and then control them. But then you arent really 'them'. Is that what you mean? Also, the times when you've done it. What it a specific mission, or just something you put together in editor?

Can you also specify what you mean by 'free zeus'? Do you mean being able to toggle zeus on and off with the Zeus key?

Free zeus is when the Zeus is a person, a soldier on the field and can toggle in and out of the thing. It's not a controlled AI, it's a PERSON, the players name is in RED and you cannot edit them. I've done it two times before randomly

Oh, now I understand. That's when the zeus is an actual soldier unit, instead of blank game logic like in most Game Master missions.

Whether you can do this, depends on how the mission is made. To do this, when it's possible, press the Zeus key. Check your keybindings for which key that is. I believe the default is 'Y'.
