Problems with helicopter HUD
How do i enable these (displayed in the layout section) HUDs: Ground speed, Altimeter, Attitude, variometer and compass.

Going into Game\Layout they can be seen on the screen, but so far I've found no way of using them in game.

I think it was the idea that they would pop up when pressing "Right CTRL+B" in a helicopter, but for me that only displays the SL assistant HUD.

Especially the Attitude would be nice, when flying bigger helicopters.

You talking about the advanced flight model gauges? They can on be seen if you turn on advanced flight model.

The moment you said advanced it all made sense to me. Thank you.

For anyone who reads this thread looking for an answer:
Go into Game\General and in the top right corner see "HELICOPTER FLIGHT MODEL" Change that from Standard to Advanced. That will make the HUD displays show up when entering a helicopter.

Sweet! I needed to know this also...
I cannot get any of the Heli's weapon systems to lock on anything. I hope that's not the way they designed it...

I did however find this MOD that overhauls the heli's and adds weapons system locking and other stuff as well.

I am going to try it out tonight..

umm, so i did some tests, if you enable advanced flight model you have a disadvantage because if you do high g turns, you helicopter can just stall. but if you use standard your helicopter can instantly recover making it better for stuff like koth.

so i just wanna ask, is it possible to get the standard flight model with the gauges?

edit: i just want the thruster gauge because flying with a joystick and seeing accurately where it is is hard for me, is there something just like the one on the top left when piloting jets

wait is it possible to get a software that can show the percentage of the throttle?
