As for King of the hill, I would imagine that your save data is server side to prevent naughty boys tampering with their progress.
if my save data was server side what would that mean, how would i get back to being able to progress in the game.
C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Arma 3
If you are using another profile you setup look here...
C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\*Profilename*
Though the Arma3.cfg is in the standard Arma3 folder. Right click on the file and see if the "Read Only" box is ticked. People do this/are told to do this if they manually change any settings within it to stop Arma from reverting those changes. You may have done this if you ever implimented the "GPU_MaxframesAhead" tweak.
I'd have to think a little about server side save data. It will reference your GUID in some way. Play it for some time and double check it is not saving for sure. It's possible that since you last played the database has been wiped. You'd need to contact server admins in most cases if a game mode isn't saving your progress.
You most likely do not have a mod the mission requires, or you have mods enabled that are not allowed. Though you would normally get kicked earlier for having a mod that is not allowed.
When you are about to join a server, look in the lower right corner at the "expansions" box. This will give you an idea of what is required if any. Be aware, some mods listed here are not required by the client (you) and some servers may have packed many mods into one folder like @Aircraft.
Older Arma's used to give some indication of what was missing with an error message like "this mission requires missing or deleted content" and would then list various .pbo file names that would help you work out which mod you might be missing. Arma 3 doesn't seem to be doing this currently from my experience.
This is most peculiar. I wonder if this is related to Battleye in some way? Do you notice any messages in the lower left corner where chat appears?
Also check the indicators in the left column on the server browser. Green circles should be good to go. Yellow means there is some mismatch though you may be able to join (expansions on server not required by you and other possibilities). Red Circles is mainly you have a mod loaded that is not allowed (At least that's the main time I notice them). Red crosses are game version mismatches.

I did a bit of looking around and found this...

This seems a strange way to impliment their saving feature and there is some suggestion to moving over to the server side saving as I would expect it to be.

i think it was happened when i loaded up arma 3 in buldozer mode:)
That is not true.Your picture shows the lobby of KING OF THE HILL | KAVALA at www.hostiletakeoverclan.com.
The playerlist shows up in three different colors:
BLUEFOR = Blue
OPFOR = Red
INDEPENDENT = Green
It's in your *username*.vars.profile, apparently, according to this link...

The thing is, from what I have read over at those forums, the admins don't always know themselves.
