As for me personally, I really enjoyed Western Sahara as I already like the 2035 assets and they blend so well with vanilla and because of that I consider that they should be mandatory or published as base game DLC. Western Sahara simply provides a small map in the desert, and some content for it. Along side several either retextured assets or fully new assets. The co-op mission "Extraction" while it doesn't save progress I think is really fun. Although after a dozen play throughs you might get tired of it. I still thoroughly enjoy it myself.

The Spearhead CDLC was decent. I'm personally not a fan of the WW1/2 era. Performance was absolutely garbage (worse than regular modded arma or a spamming zeus) at the time. Alongside that I felt like it was somewhat lacking for WW2 assets for the price.. But both my partner and I did actually enjoy it and the flamethrowers were pretty cool. The Multiplayer campaign was okay for what little we played, but didn't spend much time in it, as we got it primarily for assets (the flamethrower in particular). The normandy map, I was really hoping for a d-day style landing or the ability to have one.. but the map contains no actual beachs, and is actually in-land.

If I personally had to rebuy them. I would probably continue to stick with the original purchase order, I did the first time. Western Saraha, Reactive Forces then Spearhead at a later time. Having ownership of all the DLC + CDLC (Except Soundtrack for SOG) I think that if you enjoy vanilla assets "Western Sahara", "Reactive Forces", "Expeditionary Forces" should be bought first. As they blend so well with vanilla. If you're more interested in alternative time, or assets (e.g. conversions) then the other CDLC's are the goto.

*I have no experience with Global Mobilization CDLC despite ownership. I've never actually launched it. I've heard pretty bad things about it though.

If you dont own APEX. I definitely recommend APEX. If you're not into singleplayer stuff specifically, you can avoid the tac-ops mission DLC.

Out of the two WW2 CDLC's I only tried the Spearhead CDLC and it was decent.....
What other WW2 CDLC are you talking about? As I am unaware of any other WW2 themed CDLC. Spearhead has 2 terrains, but only 1 campaign series of scenarios.

Its a genuine mistake on my end, I was relying on memory entirely and didn't actually check the store page. I mistook another CDLC as an actual WW2 era CDLC. I will fix the original post, to reflect that.

You should also checkout IFA3. It's a workshop mod, if you're interested and not aware of its existence.

Fair enough. There are 3 Arma 3 lore/modern/2035-era CDLC (Reaction Forces, Expeditionary Forces, Western Sahara), 1 WW2 CDLC (Spearhead), 1 Vietnam war CDLC (SOG Prairie Fire), 2 Cold War/1980s CDLC (CSLA Iron Front, Global Mobilisation)

Subscribe to the Compativlility mod for Non Owners. Each CDLC has one.

Western Sahara CDLC as an example: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2636962953

You can checkout all the gear/weapons/vehicles in the VR-arsenal in the game (look in tutorial menu). You can also load up the DLC/CDLC terrain in the editor to have a look in the scenery. You probably can also put the CDLC gear and vehicles in the terrain to look how that works out. But you can't play it in person.

For the campaign there are probably walkthrough or gameplay videos on Youtube or something. But that might also be a spoiler.
So you can get an idea yourself what it is before you spend money on it.
