But even without that, you can play Arma alone forever, especially if you make your own missions, or use mods.
Even if you don't make missions or mods, Arma has many scenarios that can be replayed.
Note: Some of those missions are only available for multiplayer, but you can still play them alone with AI teammates.
Just host a game and make it private on LAN for yourself.
Then you get SP via MP.
MP = multiplayer (alone, with other people, with bots, against bots, etc)
