How to deploy the 'Smoke screens' found on vehicles?

I searched this question up, found some tips that didn't help, and 'G' didn't work.

So what is the button to do so or am I missing something?

You need to use the "Countermeasures" keybind. It's usually dependant on where you're sitting. For tanks, you have to be in the Commander's seat. In an unarmed Ifrit, the smoke screen can be activated from the Driver's seat. Try out different seats in various vehicles and see which seat allows the smoke screen! :3

He said what the name of the keybind was not what key it actually is by default.
