Are you aware about the general prejudices for AMD versus INTEL CPUs?
If not, please use the search function of this forum.
With a new purchase you can save a little money but you will regret that after a few months.
Save your money for a few months longer, re-use your old hardware, check the overlocker forums for the best (cheapest) combination of motherboard, Intel CPU and RAM. At Intel, pay attention to the suffix K, where frequency haven't been limited.
There used to be the opinion that an overclocked AMD processor plus water cooling would be better and even cheaper than an Intel CPU with a fan. This may be right for other games but not for ArmA3.
In this question you always will come across fanboys, as I am one, but I am also interested in experiences with the new AMD CPU generation and ArmA3.,
I wouldn't trust anything else.
You can ask here in the forum what the best deal is.
Some players even have fun to suggest a setup to you, if you tell what your budget is.
From my own experience:
Friends don't let friends buy a AMD CPU for ArmA.
I would spend as much as I can for an overclockable INTEL CPU.
Apart from the motherboard you can retrofit everything later.
This.
