Arma 3

Will GTX 1650 GPU be good enough for Arma 3?
I've recently went from a 750 ti to a GTX 1650, and I'm wondering if this would be good enough for Arma 3? Back when I had the 750 ti, the fps was between 5-20, depending on certain maps.

in that case I have a quad core processor (3.70 GHz) and 8 GB RAM. Is their anyway I can at least configure it?

Yeah, you've got the ability to drop settings as you see fit. If the CPU is fairly new then you should be alright.

I'd add another 8GB of RAM. It helped me with stuttering problems, particularly in Arma 3, but games like Squad as well. Your GPU and CPU should be just fine though.

I'll try getting a 16 GB RAM.

What actual cpu tho? A "quad core processor (3.70 GHz)" might sound ok but if it's old then it will have poor ipc (instructions per cycles) speeds and seriously effect your Arma 3 performance.

Chances are if your cpu was already holding you back to the point of 5-20fps a gpu upgrade is only gonna help a little bit, But a cpu upgrade would be like night and day when it comes to performance gains.

Make sure the ram is at least 2800+ for the Speed (Mhz) preferrably 3000 or better.
Also put the game on an SSD, dont use a normal harddrive.
