What does "Casual Milsim" even mean?
I've seen units advertise themselves as "Casual Milsim", which kind of irks me. I get why they do it, as it tries to appeal to both casual and milsim players at the same time, but most of the time when they say "casual milsim" they mean "We play milsim but we won't kick you as easily".

It's quite annoying to look for a casual group, and half the replies are so called "casual milsim" and the other half are just full on milsim groups who don't gaf about what threads they paste text walls onto.

To me casual mil sim is an excuse for a lazy milsim :P If they are casual, they should be called a roleplay clan or something.

You want tactica realism groups, the focus on tactical realism out in the field, and don't focus much on the yes/no sir side of stuff.

Casual milsim usually means that they try for the milsim angle but won't force you to go through days of training so you know how to keep that exact 5.5 meters distance in the staggered column formation where you are expected to know your position perfectly.

Okay, I don't know why this is an active discussion again cause this is over a year old. I'm going to have to unsubscribe.
