Is Arma 3 dead?

I'm thinking of buying Arma 3, but don't know if I should. The only thing that is stoping me is the player count. Is the game dead or still alive?

There arent good server for player who didnt in a group, when you are in a group its very cool.
When you like to have team work with random peoples on the server you schouldnt buy it, the most had better things to do.
Play alone withouth fun or play in a group with alot of fun.

This game is very active, many servers are very full during play time, I dont know what you are on about Pamslam and Mr 99. Especially Zeus servers in the 'Official Servers'

Our Steamcharts player count isn't accurate but we've got thousands of active people. Not hurting for numbers at all. What matters is the quality of the individual player.

The game is dying. Its not dead just yet. The community is getting rather toxic. In december of 2019 I posted that the game was alive. Since then I have had to shut my servers down and will not open them again. I shut down from lack of players. Players weren't even getting on my vanilla servers.
