Try in editor ,,, put enemy tank down gif a waypoint move and 2e cycle waypoint ,,, so the will gif heat and try again.
Thanks for answering! Issue is just that I’ve done just that. I’ve made sure that the target is ”hot”. But still doesn’t work!
Macer works on the best way if you see your object/target on a good distance to lock.
Start stratis and set object and view distance both on 10km and try

On a sidenote, DAGRs are very useful against cold targets that you have trouble locking on. Just use your targeting pod (make sure you enable point/area lock) to aim at your target and fire. The DAGR will always fly to where your turret or targeting pod aims.
Only issue with them is their limited agility, so fire them from sufficient range.
For some reason, this seems to have worked. i'm gonna give it a go in multiplayer mode and I'll be back with a result! Thanks a alot!
As Tajin already say ""If the target is selected (white square) but not locked then you're usually not aligned to it. You have to face the target for some time to actually aquire the lock.""
Its the object viewdistance ,,,, if i set it low i have the same problem ,, not easy to lock.
I test it whit module "hide all object" (its remove al land objects it gifs good fps and its verry good way to play and test sensor and all ammo for aircraft or heli ) i set both view on 20km and i fly to the target (tank) and will have lock on 5km distance to take tank down whit macer.
