ACE3 Hellfire lockon?
How do you use the ACE3 Hellfire in LOBL-DIR mode? I can't seem to get it to lock the laser.

It doesn't say how to get it to lock onto the laser and that's the problem I am having.

Hellfire L version is radar guided. Use the K or N version for laser guidance.

Have a friendly from your own faction put laser on target (designator/UAV/targeting pod) and use thermals to verify the laser dot is indeed visible (not covered by roof or trees for example).
In the aircraft, select the AGM 114K or AGM 114N and ensure your radar is visible (cycle [ or ] keys)
Adjust the aircraft heading to fly directly towards the target
Adjust radar/sensor range (ctrl [ or ]) until you can see the red laser target marker in the radar/sensor. If not seen, try to approach target from different angles and if still not seen, adjust laser to a better target more in the open (for testing purpose ideally a static vehicle).
Check top right under the AGM 114K or AGM 114N the red targeting light should be on and attack profile should have changed from LOAL (lock after launch) to LOBL (lock before launch).
Fire and watch your missile hit the lased spot (missile view by cycling [ or ] keys).

For attack at longer ranges, you can do the same, except fire from much farther out before the sensor shows the red laser indicator (LOAL mode) but try and fire so that the missile will fly directly to towards the target and when the missile's own sensor detects the laser it will Lock On After Launch and adjust course to track to the laser target.

Keybinds:
Alt-Ctrl-Q and Alt-Ctrl-E to change laser code (works for the designator and attacker).
Ctrl-Tab to change missile attack profile (if equipped for that missile)

The above should be accurate 90% but depends on the specific aircraft/weapon used as well what mods you use.
