Zeus Karts on Altis

Hey guys, had a quick question involving the vanilla zeus cart race on altis. I havent ever delved into the Zeus on multiplayer that much and I was wondering how you started the race?

For example, I load up the mission, have my buddies as racers and I am zeus. I can put objects and AI and all the things Zeus can normally do just fine, But my buddies, as racers, cant go anywhere. The preset racing waypoints dont show up for them either.

Im not using any mods or anything when I tried this, just vanilla Arma. Thanks for your help in advance. I appreciate it.
