Not worth without dlcs?

I've seen a lot of times that arma 3 isn't worth buying without any dlcs... Is this true ? And why?

I wish I would have read all the questions like this before buying... But no, Arma is DEFINITELY not worth buying without DLC's. So basically, it's not worth it in general.

To eleborate - The content you get in the base package is definitely massive, but still very limited on training and missions, and without DLC, that's all you get. You will NEVER find a multiplayer game without owning ALL the DLC ($72.95 USD).

So for $40 USD you'll get training, and a few missions in single player only.

absolutely no problem for me to spend all this money.... I got gifted steam cards and got bunch of games.... But thank you for telling me I should buy dlcs aswell.

You can play without dlc,Modded especially.

Don't take advice from someone who has only clocked 8.8hrs on the game, Arma 3 is well worth it with or without dlc's and 99% of things you will play won't need dlc's to play, most things need free mods to join

also look at how many games he owns but how little he has clocked on each, not really the best person to judge the worth of games
