How to disable alt+click map teleport script?
Creating a mission through the Eden editor, when testing the map I noticed if I press alt then click somewhere on the map I get teleported to wherever I clicked, how can I disable this?

No need to remove it :)
It will only work in the 3Den editor. Unless you have a script somewhere else that does the same, ofc :woodlehappy:

I teleported while I was in the scenario, playing as a character in it
The 3Den editor and the preview have this enabled.
Playing it as a singleplayer scenario from the workshop / on a server will not have this enabled unless there is another script somewhere else in your mission or mission directory/

The teleport happened while you play a role in the scenario, not while in the editor. A message pops up on the chatlog telling the grid where you teleported, so I believe it is the game itself, I ran the scenario in a multiplayer server. I was using SSPCM the first time, tried it without SSPCM and it still did the same thing,

SSPCM (Cheat menu)
Allows you to enable a map teleport (alt+click)

How would I do that? Is there a line of code I would have to delete or something?

There may be a script or something somwhere in the directory.
While in the editor, go to
• File • Open Mission Directory (or something along those lines)
or go here and search for the name of it
• C:\Users\**NAME**\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles\**IN-GAME NAME**\missions

You may also want to check the triggers and unit init fields inside of the mission too. SSPCM may of added some things in somewhere.

All thats in there is a text file with jarbled code, maybe I could put a logic entity down to disable the teleport all together? Is there any way I could do that? Thanks for sticking with me so far, btw

I don't think you can actually disable it inside of the editor or the preview.
There must a trigger, another mod, or something inside of the init field of something that still has it enabled when it shouldn't.

5yo thread, my man. Just saying "unhelpful" can't make it any easier for anyone to help :(

The teleportation is a feature in 3Den for when you're testing to speed things up. You can always rebind your alt key if it's much of an issue for ya ^^

If you don't want it at all, once you've finished your building in the 3Den editor, hit Scenario -> Export -> Export to Singleplayer. Playing through the Singleplayer scenarios thing will completely disable it.

Hi, you cannot remove the 3Den teleport feature ^^

For the ACE map tool specifically:
Options -> Addon Options -> ACE Map Tools -> Set 'Rotate Map Tools Key' to 'DISABLED'.

For anything else ACE related, either go to above and search, or:
Options -> Controls -> Configure Addons -> ACE x -> select what you want to remove/rebind -> Delete or rebind

Thank you very much, but we don't use ACE X in our bundle, and why i should disable it, i need to rotate it, not disable, but with ctrl it draws lines, and with shift it also draws lines cause of SWT markers....

Hi, I cannot possibly know what mods you have installed. You can check what each mod has as its keybindings with the information I sent above and re-bind or disable as you see fit! ^^
