Edit saved games in editor
Coming back to this game after a couple of years. I used the editor a lot back in the day. I have a question.

Is their a way to edit the map the way you want. Play that map the way you want and save the game at some point. Then loading that saved game in the editor and adding things to the map and continue with that edited version?

You can place or delete objects on the map, save/ load and play (test) your scenario! If youre ready with them you can export the the scenario to the workshop and as mission for your self! But if you want create an MP mission you have to save them as MP mission and you can test!

Here an little example

I remember I used to do all these things. But I don't think you understand what I was asking.

I am talking about setting a map up. You then play that map and say you kill enemies and find new items. Then you save your game. Then you open the editor with the saved game instead of the saved map scenario so you unit has the new items you found and the killed enemies and you can continue to edit and add new things in the editor as you go. This would not be in MP mode.

It gives a sense of interrupted persistence

Not possible by default to do what your asking, you would need to script that.
Best ask on BI forums in mission editing and scripting section

as thats where the hardcore arma gamers are imo
