In the Airborne Group's Waypoint, I used "Getout" Waypoint Type.
In the Helicopter's waypoint I placed this in the Waypoint "On Act"
{_x action [""Eject"", HindA1]} forEach units GRPHindA1; {_x leaveVehicle HindA1} forEach units GRPHindA1;
The Waypoints were NOT synced and this method worked perfectly for me.
PS: Who is GRPHindA1? Is it the variable name of the paratrooper squad?
Yes, GRPHindA1 = Airborne troops.
I spent hours trying to get them to do what You've been trying. For ME, this was the Best method for getting the airborne drop to actually execute as planned. Just remember, the speed of the vehicle will be important. If it's going too fast, the troops will collide & kill each other. lol.
You should put this info up in an guide, I was looking for hours without sucess before I opened up this thread!
Like you, I spent HOURS researching, trying to get an airborne drop to work.
Have fun & take care!
