Server Setup Help

I'm completely new to server hosting. I decided to purchase a server for me and my group of friends to run co op missions on. My issue is getting the damn thing to work. I purchased through NitrousNetworks and they use TCAdmin 2. I've found a few tutorials on TC admin, and I thought I was doing everything right, but the server doesn't show up in the server browser, and I can't direct connect to the server (steam says its not responding.) Is anyone able to do a discord call with me and help me troubleshoot and maybe answer some questions about using TCAdmin in general?
