To find your Local IP go to start menu- type in the search - CMD and press Enter. then type ipconfig press enter this will tell you your IPV4 that your friends need to connect with. then ADD another service name it Steam And put in External start port 2304 end port 2305 same in internal protocol BOTH and IP etc. click APPLY .. if you have any further troubles it has been a antivirus Firewall or sometimes Windows firewall can block Arma3 or steam.make sure they are allowed in the firewalls inbound and outbound rules.. or disable your antivirus firewall. try not to disable windows firewall, also check that it is allowed through the windows firewall...via allow program through firewall in control panel security etc... good luck hope this helps someone in need....
I love you more than anything right now my friend. Thank you so much! I wish I could repay you!
I wish you could commend steam profiles
Hi mate, I was having some trouble hosting again for a while too. No matter how i set up my port forwarding in my Router I would get Port closed results every time I was checking my Ports via Port check or can you see me online port checkers. I then Used Port Forward Network Utilities from PortForward.com heres a link if like. https://portforward.com/store/pfconfig.cgi You can use the Trial version to set up a Static IP which I think was the main issue. You must have a static IP not dynamic. And then use their Port check tool to check if your Ports inside Your Routers settings are actually open. Usually will be under Advanced settings / Port Forwarding. choose Add a new service and name it Arma3 with port range from 2302 - 2305, then make sure Your IPV4 /local IP is added correctly. Some info I posted above might help you if you're not quite sure how to set up port forwarding in Your Router. Check Your Router for the label that should tell you Your IP to search on your browser to connect to your Routers settings / menu, usually 192.168.0.1 in most cases and will also have the Admin and Password info on the label usually on the back of the router to login to it. Again I think the Port Forward Network utilities helps a lot by adding the Static IP easily. Once all this is done and you get the port checkers to see you and say your port is open You can then fire up Arma3 go to multiplayer / Host and set up to Host your server. don't tick the UPNP box just enter port number 2302 and max of 16 players and password if like. Hopefully You have success. The Port Forward Network utilities Tool should help if you have set up your Port forward services correctly. If still have trouble get back to me and I will try make a quick Video Tutorial and upload to Youtube to try help those who are getting stuck with all this. Good luck again here is link to PortForward.com / Network Utilities - https://portforward.com/store/pfconfig.cgi
