How do I fix. 'Files are not signed by a key accepted by this server'

So here's my problem

I have the A3Launcher for Arma 3, and I really want to play Battle Royale. But whenever I try to join a game it shows 'Files are not signed by a key accepted by this server. To play on this server, remove the listed files or installed additional accepted keys.' I've tried tons of things, I've re-installed the entire game and the mod at least twice. (Not my brightest hour) Nothing works though. And all the help out there was for when things were different. Now things are changed and some folders aren't there and the Battle Royale site keeps giving me ♥♥♥♥. I just don't know what to do at this point and I really wish someone could help me get this sorted out.

I tried deleting them once, then it kept going on and on and on with more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about files that needed to go too. Please reply as soon as possible.

I could be of more help if you had a picture of the file directory of the mod, but based on the error message you're getting I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you probably have some folders out of place.

Steam \ SteamApps \ Common \ Arma 3 \ Addons \ @Battle Royale

That is where your mod files should be located. Within the "@Battle Royale" folder you should have at least two more folders called "Addons" and "Keys". Any file with a .pbo in the file name needs to be in your "Addons" folder, and any file with a .bikey in the name needs to be in the "Keys" folder.

From the sound of it you are missing the files in the "Keys" folder, or they are out of date or something.

i have the same problem and my keys folder is empty

Try re-downloading the mod. There should be .bikey files in your keys folder. If there aren't, the mod isn't properly signed and won't work outside of singleplayer or a private server.

i already did it 2 times but the key folder is everytime empty

Delete the keyfolder and let the game re-create it so there are the correct keys in it.. I haven't fiddled with this in a while so I'm not so sure what worked for me

how can i let the game recreate it ?

I'm kinda late, but disabling other mods that i don't need to play on the server fixed it for me.

Yeah that works and you can also delete the keys folder so that the game can remake them for you making the ones that you need to play.

i am having issues joining my a server i used to play on...does this method still work today? appreciate if someone could help. 80% of the players in our server cant manage to get in for past few days and the server owner has gone awol lol

yeah i haven't played arma in a really long time so im not too sure how well it works, but for everyone who's asked me that ususally always ended up working. Good luck man, i kinda specifically forgot the solution so try and use this the best you can.

did not work for me. i deleted all my "keys"- folders and still get kicked from various servers after a few minutes. getting a new account might help.

my problem is my mod doesnt have a "Keys" folder in the Exile mod, it just has addons, and all the .bikey files with it.

I'm not sure how I do it anymore but i think you have to delete the keys or the key folder.. idk I vaugely remember just removing the keys or deleting something

Try finding the keys folder and deleting it. I think that worked, read the comments I solved a few people's problems.
