EXILE mod Noob guide (just the first couple hours)

So, I started playing EXILE and I love it. I did notice that the wiki is pretty lacking in good info on what to do in the first couple of hours

Right off the bat youre gonna have to select a spawn zone. You want to make sure its decently close to the airport in the middle of the map because thats where all the vendors are. First thing you want to do after landing is start searching the nearby houses for some food/drink and gear. Watch your hunger and thirst, double click on the food/drink and hit consume to well... consume.

You want to set a marker on the airport by shift clicking the map in the blue zone. You should be trying to make your way there and picking up gear along the way. Ditch the orange jumpsuit as soon as you can.

Items are color coded also, think wow rarity levels. Get a decent backpack and load up.

When you get to the airport go inside and sell everything that you can do without. Maybe upgrade backpack and such if you want. Make sure you have enough food/water.

Then range out from the airport to nearby areas and loot everything you can, I def suggest the military areas. You usually find more military related equipment in those areas if the server is set up right. Guns sell for a decent amount.

Once you have enough to buy a vehicle (500 is probably enough to get a quad bike) head just outside the front of the airport and you should find where you can buy a vehicle. Items in the vehicle save as long as you lock your vehicle and park it at the airport before restarts.

At this point you can range a bit farther and carry more making your runs more profitable. Keep this up and gain enough respect (from selling items) to buy a flag to plant and you can start building a base.

Are you joining with the right mods loaded for the server?

It seems so. The one I'm having problems with right this red-hot minute is with Nobbas NBS server. It asks for the BAF Apache. I checked the file location it referred to and the exact file named is there.

I've noticed that, looking at the server list, every single circle down the left is red, but I have loads of mods from the Steam Workshop. I should certainly have the right ones for at least some of the servers. Am I missing where to get the right mods?

Either use the vanilla launcher or the 3rd party A3Launcher to browse servers, both should give the option to load or download the mods need for each server you try to join. hope this helps
