The rationale behind the dependencies is that it enables all of these guns to have a common and extremely expansive ammunition suite. No additional compats required.
I get that the Dependencies are important, but my main goal is to minimize mod usage, since I aim to use the handheld 50 BMG in things like Dynamic Recon Ops with buddies.
Understandable. I noticed you posted on the .50 cal SPMG mod regarding the low ammo weight. My HAFM Extended does happen to have realistically-weighted .50 cal belts, although those are obviously contingent on you adopting UAS. Give it an honest shake, you might like the wide feature list it has to offer.
