Arma 3
How can I create a modpack?
I would like to try and condense the amount of mods on a friend of mines server. And have the gear be more specific on what is listed. And just delete items we don't want/use out of the modpack. I know you can script something to hide certain items. But I'd rather just delete them instead of selecting hundreds of names in a notepad.

Can someone point me in the right direction.

Go in the launcher, drop stuff in active mods as you please, save as a preset, export preset.

It'll give you an HTML that anyone can drag onto the launcher and it'll do it's thing.

You can also create a Steam Workshop collection, which is the same thing, except not as user friendly.

I swear if I find you reuploading all the mods as one big "mod" I will report the hell out of that workshop entry. Single most infuriating thing whenever I look through, closely followed by "Let's just put all the categories on so more people find my trash!"

Not what I meant. I wanna take certain things from RHS USAF, AFRF, and other mods to compile my own modpack. Cause there is mods that have like 120 hats. And it lags, or 100 helmets of pretty much the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. I wouldn't upload it on the workshop, and if I did it would be private as I'm wanting to create this for my friends server so we can come down on the amount of mods and ♥♥♥♥.

Let's just forget about how questionable that is from a license standpoint (which is the one reason I ain't telling nothing).

How many mods do you have, for crying out loud?

Just create a folder and drop the addons and keys folder inside, then upload it with Arma Tools.
Nobody cares about a license if you are playing with your friends and not going to share it to everyone apart who plays with you, i did the same plenty of times as i hate having 4000 mods loaded and activate them 1 by 1.

That's all I wanted to do xD But the one mod we use has like 400 hats. And I don't want them. I'm just not sure how to remove them from the mod itself before compiling it all into a smaller modpack.
