How to modify a mod ?
Hello guys !

I do not know how to make a mod. But, I have lot of mods on my ArmA 3 (and I play only on editor). I like some mods, but I do not like the color or camo of some skin in the mods.

I want to modify for a personnal use (I don't want to propose what I'm doing. Because, the mods isn't mine at all).

So, I search on google how to do. But, it's really fuzzy ...

I want to know :
- The list of all software I need
- How to run a local mod

Thanks for the help guys !

Hey bud! Check out this video, he covers everything you need to know as far as software you'll need and show you step by step how to modify a skin/mod. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZoI7f0ApSI&t=275s&list=LLEKeCaqdWSda5pon2aXUOOQ&index=14

Shortlist of things you'll want for skins is: TexView2 and ArmA 3 Tools (which you can download from Steam)

Honestly, any modding questions you have, turn to Youtube. SO many guys have thrown out tutorials on modding/retexturing and tell you exactly what you'll need. You'll need to do a little homework on your own to fill in the blanks on some things, though :) Hope this helps!

If you are just wanting to change uniforms, that can be done in eden in the virtual arsenal
