ACE Medical - Can't Wake People Up
Hi All! Running basic ACE Medical on a new Antistasi campaign, and when people get shot in the head we cannot wake them up no matter what we do. We've played around with all the ACE Medical settings that could possibly relate to this issue and many that logically can't. Does anybody know what's going on? We just want basic medical to work the way it used to (bandages, epi, morphine, blood).

Current server ACE Medical settings (all set to overwrite clients and mission) available upon request.

With the new ACE Med rewrite came Cardiac Arrest, this means you need to check your unconscious for a heart rate. If there's none, they're in cardiac arrest and require CPR to get the heart beating again.

I'd suggest raising up the CPR success chance on your server if you're looking for a more casual experience, as the low success chance can make the CPR thing become tedious after doing it multiple times.

Fascinating, thank you! We'll test that out immediately. Will post results for posterity.

On my server I've set the CPR success chance to 75% and even still sometimes it will take four rounds of CPR to get a heart rate back. The default setting is extremely harsh in terms of how successful CPR is, maybe a bit much so.

The medical rewrite definitely has changed some aspects of the ACE Medical, but with some setting tweaks you should be able to get it pretty well dialed in.
Send me a message if you want to discourse about settings, and I can show you some of what I've got set up and why.

Much obliged! With this insight I think we can hash it out, butt I will bear your offer firmly in mind. :)
