So, Unfortunately. None of us are in the clear for a refund.
Where do you come up with that number
Should of seen day one. People were even complaining about refunds the day Early access was released for this game. then when this game finally got a "released" title. Most Alpha and Beta access players that were still playing the game threw up there arms. Go back in time on the forum and look. there is ALOT of theads. generally not the same person creating it. a lot of replies agreeing as well.
Thats way to high. Some days I see 10,000 people playing this game at the same time. At most (and I am being generious) a 1,000 people have asked for a refund on the forum. Thats only 10% people playing at peak hours of the game. Now, I don't know the number of people who bought into early access, but I'm sure it was a high number. I would probably guess around 10,000 but that could be way off. To say that 60-70% of early adaptors want a refund is silly. I'd guess that 90% of the people are either happy about the game, willing to give it time to mature into the game it will become, or don't want to waste their time posting about a refund on the steam forums (it really is a silly thing to do. You are not going to get anything out of it. Theres no refund fairy reading the forums). If you truely want a refund, you should be contacting BIS or Steam privately and talking to them. But I am assuming most people won't do that because then they won't be able to play the game. Sounds silly. Forum talk is cheap. If so many people want a refund, then why is everyone posting it here and not contacting the correct people?
But seriously, why do people think they can get refunds all of a sudden? I have been gaming for 20 years and have not once gone onto a forum and demanded a refund. I've bought tons of crappy games over the years. Never once have I sought to get a refund. Then again I extensively look into every game I buy these days so that I know what I am getting but thats just me. Plus, as an early adaptor, thats the risk you take. You should know from the start that you may not like that game.
I dont mean to sound cruel, but I laugh at almost all the people on here asking for a refund like some higher power is making sure you enjoy your games. You made a bad investment. It happens every day to millions of people. It might be time for everyone to go ahead and suck it up. Then again, you can always try going through the proper channels for a refund and see where that gets you. Bottom line, posting it on this forum will get you absolutely nothing.
Another good point. People put crazy amounts of hours into this game and then still come on here and try to get a refund. 53 hours on a game is more than most AAA games will give you. A lot more. How many games do you have on Steam that you've put more than 53 hours into? Probably not many. $60 for 53 hours of gameplay sounds like a steal to me. Some games give you 6-10 hours of gameplay and cost just as much.
I seen day one, I bought in alpha stage. Sure there are a lot of threads but most are made from the same people. I understand some want refunds but there is no way it is 60%, more like 6% if that high.
yeah. reply to my comment to see what i said ♥♥♥♥♥♥(lolled how that word is censored)
It would probably be closer to 1%, but they have been a very vocal minority.
I'll just go play Metro LL for the graphics or Rainbow six for the tactics. Seriously.
WTF, where did you get that number?! stop whining in every post and stop inventing facts. As you said you all bought the game knowing this, so wait for the patch. FORTUNATELY you wont get any "refund", dont be silly.
