Arma 3 - Virus Detectded: [Trojan.Gen.SMH] Anyone else?
Got this message: "Trojan.Gen.SMH" when trying to launch Arma 3. Has anyone else got it? And what are your opinions?

Same here, guess you're using Norton as this is what happened to me. I posted in another thread and someone replied saying it's a false positive.

Yeah, I'm using Norton. :P What have you done?

Nothing yet, was waiting for a reply from the devs confirming this as a false positive but nothing yet :s

Okay, that is probably a good idea. I don't want to take any chances :/

Guys its obviously a false positive and its the package the file is in, why it was detected as a torjan. Avast anti virus user, you dont get more sensitive to bad files than avast does. And so far Avast has not poped up a single thing about any file in the ARMA 3 folder as a torjan.

I'd wait for the devs to sort it out with Norton. It's true it's a 'pattern' positive, but still.

Same problem here ... it has to be a False Positive. Bohemia Interactive wouldn't let us download Trojan horses haha
Does anyone have an update on this? Would also prefer to see Norton sort before I override and reinstall the file. Cheers
