[UK/EU] 20th Armoured Brigade Combat Team [MilSim]
General Information
We are the 20th Armoured Brigade Combat Team, A hardcore MilSim unit aimed towards achieving as realistic of an experience as possible within Arma - based off of the British Army and the real 20th ABCT. We fulfil many roles:
  1. Armoured Infantry (Main)
  2. Light Infantry
  3. Recce, both armd and light
  4. Armour

Our bread and butter sees us using the FV510 Warrior IFV to destroy the enemy through shock action. We use as many real TTP's as allowed within Arma. When we operate in adverse terrain, we conduct light role or motorised operations. We also conduct joint operations with various EU units, which occasionally see us performing specialist roles.

Our main events occur on Saturdays at 1900 BST, but we also conduct joint operations with a number of units. These allow us to also play on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays on occasion.

Careers
Upon completion of our Combat Infantry Course, which teaches you the basics of both Arma and British Army tactics, you will be able to complete a number of courses related to the unit's infantry assets. Once you've been in for a while, you'll be able to branch out into various specialisations. Some of these courses include:

  • SCBC (Section Commander)
  • FTCC (Fireteam Commander)
  • Sharpshooter (using the L129A1)
  • Warrior Gunners or Drivers
  • Team Medic
  • And many more.


What we're looking for
We are looking for people who are motivated to dedicate themselves towards a unique MilSim experience.

Anyone with management, leadership, and military experience are very welcomed with us. As it is, we currently have a few members who are current or former service members of British and various NATO Armed Forces.

No experience required - if you're new to the game, we will show you the ropes!
