Aside from that little rant, I do look forward to seeing where this goes. I've seen way too many communities fall some of which stopped hosting within reason, others where they try to continue with nothing (like trying to get a car to drive with no tires.) I love the custom content that everyone has contributed to the Arma III community including Jonzie, Trump, and a few others and like seeing what's made of it all.
On another note, I like that you are trying to promote this community however, there are better ways of doing so. Not everyone but some may see it as you are attacking other communities by listing the specific names which can then reflect back on said community here. The great thing about the other Arma Free Project Life servers was that they were being hosted by some genuine people within the Arma community, and maybe we don't always agree or like what others are doing and sure may have lack in experience, they still provided a platform for people to play on until another server was released. The Project Life framework is dying out slowly, and though a lot of us still see it as a great framework, others do not.Out of everyone that hosts it the reason many have shut down is due to there being no market for it, players just are either into other servers/game types or playing other more stable games.
My last word, I do want to see this arise and become a great platform/community players can play on, however I do feel there are better ways to promote and market. I have a lot of respect for most of you and do want to see this take off somewhere and do hope the best.
This is not intended to bring any negativity and is a personal perspective. This being said please do not take this personally.
No offence taken. As to what you said in your first paragraph, I have been filled in with basic details on what happened however we have two other users here who are very close with Jonzie and are helping him with his case. Short to say, these communities won’t last long without Jonzies cars ;).
