Mission Statement

ASQN, 2 troop is an Arma 3 military simulation unit, we seek to simulate United Kingdom Special Forces operations accurately with an emphasis on quality over quantity for our unit members.

22SAS, A Squadron 2 Troop

The Special Air Service (SAS) is the British army’s premier and famous Special Forces unit. Tasked Primarily with Counterterrorism operations, the unit is dynamic and has deployed in every war since its founding, performing a range of Special operation tasking.

A Squadron two troop(Air) are masters of airborne and freefall insertion HALO (high altitude low opening) & HAHO (High altitude high opening).

22 SAS is tasked with:

• Counter-terrorism
  
• Hostage Rescue
  
• Surveillance and reconnaissance
  
• Support and influence
  
• Offensive actions
  
• Forward air control
  
• VIP Close Protection

SELECTION AND TRAINING

Potential candidates to the unit will attend the UKSF Joint Selection split into four modules covering unit SOPs, Signalling followed by a CULEX under the supervision of the Directing Staff

Upon successful completion of all phases, candidates will be badged as Trooper and assigned to a patrol, further training modules will be done after such as Patrol skill qualifications, Air troop skills and the counter-terrorism course.

Unit Requirements



• Able to attend main operations each Sunday at 6PM GMT/BST
  
• Must be at least 18 years old.
  
• Must be fluent in speaking, writing, and understanding English.
  
• Must be mature.
  
• Must agree to Unit policies.
  
• Must have a working microphone and be able to log into our Teamspeak server.
  
• Must own both the Apex and Contact DLCs
