What is City Life RPG

City Life RPG is an RP community on Arma 3. The community was established in 2006.

How is City Life RPG different from other similar servers

What makes the difference between City Life RPG and other life servers is that we have our own exclusive content and, with a few exceptions, we do not use content not made by us. All 3rd party mods are found in the credits. Another difference is the quality of the RP. City Life RPG strives to keep away trolls and, while it is not a hardcore RP community, we do enforce our rules[community.cityliferpg.com].

What does the mod offer to players

City Life RPG has four different sides/factions that players can play as:

• CLPD (cops)[wiki.cityliferpg.com]
  
• EMT (medics)[wiki.cityliferpg.com]
  
• NATO (army - currently inactive)[wiki.cityliferpg.com]

As a fresh member, everyone starts as civilian, with the possibility of joining CLPD or EMT after a week of being a member of the community.

Civilians start off without a job and with $6000 in their bank account. Every 30 minutes civilians receive a $50 dollars paycheck. However, civilians can get a job[wiki.cityliferpg.com] in order to receive higher paychecks. For example, you can pick up contracts from the Job Centre[wiki.cityliferpg.com] and get paid by contract, you can stock the shops[wiki.cityliferpg.com] to earn a bit more money or you can have a full time job, such as a Tow Truck driver[wiki.cityliferpg.com], Taxi Driver[wiki.cityliferpg.com] and so on.

There are also other activities, legal and illegal, that you can do to earn money. You can plant olives, bananas, different types of drugs and you can even fish, either with a boat or a fishing rod.

Another good way to earn money and also a recently updated features is the missions[wiki.cityliferpg.com]. The missions need to be triggered by someone by going to the bartender at the Foggy City night club[wiki.cityliferpg.com]. By completing the missions, depending on the mission type and some randomness, you will be able to get different loot and even claim vehicles.

City Life RPG also offers the possibility to buy a house or to build one yourself.

You may also rob ATMs or the bank[wiki.cityliferpg.com].

Do I need any Arma 3 DLC?

No. We do have content from some of the DLCs, but you are not required to have them.

How do I join?

In order to join the community you will need to sign up for an account on our forums[community.cityliferpg.com]. Please, make sure you enter all the details correctly, especially your date of birth. Then, you will need to post an interview request after which you will get validated and then you will need to go on our TeamSpeak for a short interview with one of the Helpers.

As a 6 year veteran of the City Life RPG community, I have always seen it as a place which supports and encourages true roleplay from its members... whose staff are supportive of its members and which deals with rule breaches in a fair and impartial way by use of a team of staff who review all the evidence and make a decision by majority vote which I have not seen anywhere else.
