WHO WE ARE

E-Squadron, 22SAS is an Arma realism unit based around the United Kingdom Special Forces' Special Air Service Regiment.

We employ a varied number of operations/training to give a realistic representation of the regiment as best we can. In short this means that whilst we are a special forces unit, our missions are not limited to covert HVT ops and include a wide-range of infantry styled COIN, Conventional and Specialised missions.

WHEN DO WE PLAY

Unit-wide operations/training are conducted weekly on a Sunday at 20:00 GMT/BST.

ROLES AVAILABLE

6 Troop, E-Squadron, 22SAS

We play as 6 Troop an Air INFIL specialised troop of the squadron. This means our limitations are few and our options for INFIL/EXFIL are wide and utilised strategically.

6 Troop 'Patrol'

As opposed to your regular 'Section' of the British Infantry. The SAS use what is known as patrols, these are typically 4 man groups led by a Corporal. The roles we utilise (whilst subject to requirement changes) are as follows

Patrol Commander (L119A2) - The commander of the 4 man patrol, usually by a member holding the rank of Cpl following successful completion of our PCBC (Patrol Commander's Battle Course)

Explosive Specialist (L119A2) - Trained specifically during post-selection to utilise a variety of Explosive, Anti-Tank and Entry methods the explosive specialist forms a part of the core members in a patrol.

Combat Medical Technician (L119A2) - Trained vigorously in the ACE Advanced Medical system the CMT is the lifeline of a patrol.

LMG Gunner (L110A3) - Providing the main suppressive element of a patrol the LMG Gunner provides long-distance ability to an otherwise mostly short-range capable patrol.

UKSF SELECTION

We do not use Basic Training within our unit, instead we utilise a custom built selection process comprised of three seperate missions under which potential candidates will be assessed on their abilities. UKSF Selection is made up of three parts:

- S1: Navigation & Parachute Training

- S2: Jungle Training (Recce Exercise)

- S3: Escape & Evasion

Again, it is worth noting that selection is not 'basic training' we expect players to have a certain level of knowledge acquired through real life or in-game experience.

MULTI-CLAN REQUIREMENTS

E-Squadron, 22SAS does not employ a Multi-Clan rule, we simply ask you attend each mandatory event to the best of your ability. Leave Of Absences are as simple as a click of a button via. our custom built events RSVP system.

OTHER UNIT REQUIREMENTS

- UKSF Selection Candidates must be aged 18 or over.

- UKSF Selection Candidates must own a legitimate copy of Arma 3 & Apex Expansion

- UKSF Selection Candidates must be able to maintain a modpack downloaded via Arma3Sync

- UKSF Selection Candidates must own a copy of TeamSpeak 3 & Working Microphone
