Who are we?

Task Force Aegis was founded October 2017 by a group of veteran ArmA 3 players looking for something structured and organized yet keeping fun the main priority. We are structured and built off the official Task Force Aegis which is involved in the A3 campaign. Meaning we have essentially no growth limit [Rifle Platoons, Rotor/Fixed Wing support/ Armour] and get to keep the modpack small for newer ArmA players. Task Force Aegis is the perfect amount of fun mixed in with immersion and we highly recommend newer ArmA players to join this group. Every operation there are live actors working with Zeus [Game Master] portraying the lives of their characters which differ per deployment giving our members a real sense of immersion while in the field. We strive to be a milsim group that has broad opportunities, realistic in game environments, and a transparent staff and structure.

Schedule - Pacific Standard [PST]

Saturday 5pm - Main Operation[2hrs max]
Sunday 4pm biweekly - Unit Training[2 hrs max]
Random weekday [not mandatory] - Fun op OR Recon op

  TFA's rank structure is a simplified US Army rank structure [E1 - E2 - etc] with 1st Squadron being given warrant officer and officer ranks. Promotion Points are given to members for attending any listed event in the shcedule above. Once you reach the required amount of promotion points and the prerequisites within one week during the next operation you will be promoted. Members who are active duty and are taking up a slot in a platoon/squadron are expected to come to events therefor if you miss an event without LOA you will lose half of the promotion points that were going to be given [will lose 2 instead of gain 4]. If a member at anytime drops to the negatives they will be demoted. If they drop to far they will be discharged from the unit.

Training

All recruits have to undergo BCT [max 2 hrs] to get to know the unit rules and regulations as well as the basic tactics and knowledge they will need. After BCT members are free to create their own path via taking training courses and attending events to get the rank and role they desire.

Willingness to grow with the unit

Able to make the scheduled mandatory times
English Speaking
Owns a legal copy of ArmA 3
Owns all DLC
