Hello! Now that I have your attention. Let me introduce you to us.

WHY US?

We have been running this unit for 5 months. Originally running with the name of Zeus Vult. ZV was just an inside joke and place holder name.
We wanted to create a SERIOUSLY FUN and AUTHENTIC Arma 3 OpSim unit because what we seeked, was kinda lacking. To put it in short we wanted ultra realistic virtual combat without any of that Army bootcamp bullcr*ap.
Not some chav threatening to f*ck me in the a*s with a claw hammer because I didn't show up to an OP or, didn't fill a leave of absence form OR, in general didn't call this mini major a "Sir"...

SOUNDING ANY BIT FAMILIAR?

Imagine one of those ultra hardcore realism units you see videos from. Now just imagine it a bit better. Now that's us! And yes we do make videos too.

Our mission is to focus on operational realism, which means:

• the enemies are realistic
  
• theaters where we fight are realistic
  
• background stories are either based on real events or are fictive but beliveable.
  
• Tactics are real
  
• weapon systems and gear are authentic to their real world counterparts and loadouts are not designed by some neckbeard who thinks they just look tacticool.

We cannot be United States Army Marines just because MARPAT happens to suit better to more forested environment... Not every iraqi troop carries a rifleman radio and the only way to speak to guy 100 meters away from you is to get a bit closer. See what I mean knucklehead?

WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE

Our armies and divisions vary in every scenario. All our members are free to create us more scenarios, big or small, to be played. We don't like to strict ourselves to a single division. We have smaller ops on most weekdays, while our main ops are held during weekend evenings 1800 UTC

This is also the group as stated above where you don't have to do virtual push ups, call anyone sir. That's why a lot of current and former military servicemen are already here with us. We play games and spend time together, cracking jokes and making fun of each other, even outside of ARMA as our teamspeak server and game servers are free for all our members to use.

IMMERSION

Tactics, strategies and protocols. Would it be simple radio communications or calling in CAS, they are all taken from real world sources. Based in real military experience or are found from documents that fill the NATO Standards.

Our server is 1st person only. We don't have silly shacktac HUDs or any other mechanic that makes the game easier. What we have is ACE Advanced medical system, simulated radio and proximity voice simulation provided by Task Force Radio and Suppression feature which will most certainly remind you of putting your head down when you are being shot at!

WHAT ABOUT TRAINING?

Every new member will be taken through a short, yet effective basic training. Which is a review of basic ACE Tools, military terminology, communication and basic combat manouvering in a fire team.

Everything else is specialized, optional or situational. Depending of the members preffered roles. But everything you are thaught is drawn from real military experience and documents.

Every operation is also considered training, this is where your training is put to action. So do your best to learn as much as possible from any mistakes you might make.

RANK SYSTEM

Our ranks are purely based on experience and player expertise. So, no power tripping here. The more knowledge and the more know how you have of leadership and other traits. The higher your rank gets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Working and legal copy of Arma 3. (No Apex DLC required)
  
• Working mic and TeamSpeak.
  
• Ability to speak proficient English. (Doctor's degree not required)
  
• Ability to download our Modpack (RHS, CUP + smaller mods)
  
• Your age is 18+ (17 year olds who can show expected level of maturity are accepted to the group)
  
  We hope that people are willing to play an active role within our community, take part, socialize and work with other members to reach goals together.

Been playing with these guys for just under a week now. I've enjoyed every game I've taken part in. They are a fun but serious group. No barracks RP. Oprional training if you want to take part in(Which I recommend cause it's super useful) Really if you're looking for a group of knowledgeable and fun guys to play ARMA with and you don't want the super serious tone you get with some groups. Look no further.

This sounds like the type of group i'd be good in! I haven't had a whole lot of experience with Arma 3 milsims but i've been playing since arma 2 came out and would love to get into them.
