FIxed FPS in Arma 3! Read if you have fps problems. worked for me
1. Open Up Steam
2. Go To Your Game Library
3. Right Click ArmA 3
4. Click "Properties"
5. Click "Set Launch Options"
6. Add the commandlines that is the correct for you in the lauch options
7. press "ok"

---------------------------------------------------------------
For AMD CPU users:

AMD Dual Core with 4GB System Ram:
"-noSplash -cpuCount=2 -high"

AMD Quad Core with 4GB Ram:
"-noSplash -cpuCount=4 -high"

AMD Six Core with 4GB Ram:
"-noSplash -cpuCount=6 -high"

AMD Eight Core with 4GB Ram:
"-noSplash -cpuCount=8 -high"

----------------------------------------------------------------
Intel CPU:

For Hyperthreaded CPU's such as a Quad Core you will apply this:
-cpuCount=8

This will enable your Hyperthreads on your CPU so your CPU will act as an eight core when running Arma 3.

If you are running a Hyperthreaded Six Core then:
-cpuCount=12

If you are running a Hyperthreaded Eight Core or Eight Core Xeon then apply this:
-cpuCount=16

If you are running just a non Hyperthreaded CPU such as a Quad Core then select "4" instead of "8" same for a Dual Core you will select "2" instead of "4"
--------------------------------------------------------------
If your running more than 8GB Ram then apply this to the end of the launch line:
"-maxMem=8192"
--------------------------------------------------------------

Even if its not on the "Intel CPU" get the "-noSplash" in there aswell

I got from 29 fps on every quality settings to around 70-80 fps.
Turn OFF Vsync! it kills the FPS

This is my command line:
-cpuCount=8 -maxMem=8192 -maxVram=3071 -noBenchmark -noLogs -noPause -noSplash -world=empty
-------------------------------------------------------------
Windows 8 users have experienced problem with this, that its not fixed their FPS ingame.

-high is nonexistant commandline parameter (aka urban myth nonsense)
-maxmem has maximum 2047 (anything higher is limited to 2047 for now)

stop using 'randomly random guides and read biki what're existing commandline params)

I'm heading over to the wiki to check out the commands, but if the maxmem is hardcoded I can understand it wouldn't work to surpass it, if high isn't a command then yeah that's stupid. What about the rest though?

I have removed all the parameters from launch option. So far, automatic detection works better.
