Arma 3 stuck on loading screen

For the past few days, Arma 3 has been running liken normal, but always gets stuck on the loading screen. So far i have tried: Restarting my computer 3 times, restarting steam, and updating my graphics driver. Does anyone know a fix to this, or somthing that may resolve the problem?

Do you have any addons enabled? Change any loading settings in the launcher? If you have any addons enabled, disable them and see if it makes a difference. Personally, I can't think of any other reason it would hang there. If you haven't changed any settings in the loader, you can choose to skip intro and splash screen, see if that does anything.

I'm no expert, I'm only responding because no one else is presently.

I tried all of that with no change... thanks anyways

I had the same problem. Try just waiting it out. On the loading screen it said not responding so i closed it and pulled it up again. When you open it again DO NOT CLICK ON IT. It will take a while to load but at least it works. Also, there is a dropdown arrow next to the play button and beneath it it says "play unmodded". that might work to.

I figured it out. What you have to do is delete your arma 3 and arma 3 other profiles folders in your documents library.

grunklet grombleton tinglegimp has Arma 3

no he's talking about the Profile folders in My documents, and it seems to work.
But Save Files and Settings are also stored there so beware
(so you could move the folders into a backup folder and later transfer some files back, seems to work fine for me now)
