Arma 3

Unable to find friend's servers/friends can't find mine.
This problem arose recently, when i make a server to host my friends are not seeing my server on the list, we've tried almost everything, we've checked our versions (exactly the same) we've used filter as well as remote. We have everything right, something's going wrong. This is happening to me as well when he makes a server it's not popping up. We've also tried turning the dev off and that's proved to do nothing to fix the problem. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, help would be much appreciated. Thanks

No it's still happening from what i know, haven't played in a while because of this little problem i'm having. i'm not sure if it's because of an update that happened a while back or what, i was told it might have something to do with ports but i'm not anywhere near tech-savy enough to know how to get even remotely close to know where to find out where in my computer those are so i'm waiting for help via Arma 3's disscusion system...

Be sure to forward the following ports in your router.

Incoming: 2302 (Arma3 Game port) 2303 (Server reporting) 8766 (Steam port) 27016 (Steam query port) Outgoing: 27900 (GameSpy) 2344 (BattlEye) 2345 (BattlEye) 2300-2305 (Arma Server to Client Traffic)

Ok, i'm 100% sure forwarding ports is going to work. My only problem is idk how to forward my ports and my friend who is the only person i know who knows how to do it is being lazy so until i can get him to stop being lazy i can't fix anything i'm gunna say if you know how to forward ports do it, but as a disclaimer i'm not responsible for anything that happens to your computer so do this at your own discretion... i'm aware that every router is different as to how to do this as well so looking it up online might be difficult unless you know what type of router you're currently running on as well as passwords and other specifications... good luck

All are UDP except 2344 and 2345, those are TCP+UDP.

Allowing both won't hurt.
