- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2
- Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime 2010 x86*
- Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2013 (x86 - vcredist_x86.exe)*
*Note: You have to install the x86 version of the package even when you have a 64-bit system.When you attempted to Verify the installed game, what exactly did it say (if anything)?
When launching through steam however, it appears in the taskbar for maybe half a second and disappears,
This made me very cranky.
So I reinstalled arma 3 with clean installs 3 times; didnt work.
I hope and pray to the bohemian gods; didn’t work.
Checked all drivers and updated; didn’t work.
Finally tried to install the net framework as mentioned above; didn’t Work said it was already installed
As I was about to start drinking my problems away I tried to install the Microsoft visual C++ redistributable,
Told me it needed a restart
I did ———————
Arma 3 launcher appears instantly and is working perfectly.
Thank you to all that have helped on this thread you made my day!!!
