ArmA III MP (KotH) Crash upon joining server

My spec is a laptop ASUS N750 JV with

i7 4700 HQ Hashwell
16 GB DDR3
GT 750M
No SSD
External 24" Samsung on DP connection.

I've been playing without any trouble, save for the normal ArmA bugs, the last few weeks as I just started playing. After the newest update, the game crashes instantly after joining a server. I've tried with my choice of paramteres off / on, as well as shutting down steam, my pc, as well as trying different servers in KotH.

I've never experienced any overheating (@ 80 Degress Celcius, both CPU and GPU ), and never seen this problem before.

Has anyone encountered this, or even found a solution? My game cache told me 1 file should be reaquired, but still the problem hasn't been solved.

Unfortunately still no luck with the exact same things being spat out at me in the rpt file

Have you tried deleting the mission file?

I've litterally gone through everything that was linked to arma 3 (In common apps, appdata and my documents)

the missions files are in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\MPMissionsCache

on windows 7 that is

I'm on windows 8 and as i said in the previous comment I deleted all of Arma 3's files including C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Arma 3\MPMissionsCache

Been happening to my brother as well. He says the "open the editor and preview, then join a server" works to get him in a game, but then he cannot exit ARMA without shutting down his computer. He was playing fine up till the recent patch. Seems to be happening to lots of others as well from looking at the various forums. I can still play but have had more crashes than before, including the first total lockup I've ever seen in A3.

It should be " -malloc=tbb4malloc_bi" that's being added to the target line of arma 3 shortcut, instead of "-malloc=tbb4malloc_bi". It won't work if the space is missed.

I've fixed it now cheers. It was because battleeye service was constantly running whenn the computer starts meaning the game can't validate that it hasn't been modified when the game has been launched.

after hours of troubleshooting and messing around/reinstalling. All i had to do was set the battleye service (in services) to automatic start. (because it was on manual) once again thank you all.

I'n having this issue as well. Couldn't set the process to automatic start - however I manually started it and that did nothing. :/ Any other ideas?

You dont want to start it. You want to stop it. The game needs to start it itself otherwise it doesn't knwo what the hell is happening otherwise :)

dont know how this would apply to KOTH but for Epoch or battleroyale even breaking point so on so and so on.

i had same problem for days tryin to play epoch me and Axles one of devs from Epoch went through all this crap above nothing worked deleting batteye or setting battleeye to automatic.(while it may help with steam ticket check failed null crap it didnt work for multiplayer crashing before i could get into the game), uninstalling/reinstalling, malloc, delete mpmissionscache, delete saved player data, i even did a system restore which worked for couple days but went back to same old sh*t , what i did was in the forum post i made and it works everytime now.
