Anyone experiencing lag with lots of explosions lately?
Yes, we are playing modded. But it never seemed to be an issue until a year or so ago when we started getting very heavy lag. We haven't taken the time to work our way through our mod list one by one to verify which mod is causing it, but I figured I'd see if there's been any other players having the same problem.

The mods we believe could be causing the problem are

RHS - It seems to happen a lot with Bradleys, Cobra's, et cetera, vehicles with lots of auto-cannons firing HE.

ACE - We've disabled fragmentation and it seems to help quite a lot, but this is a really useful feature, so if it's not the main culprit (it never was until awhile back).

Blastcore - Believe we disabled this and didn't notice a difference.

BloodLust - We've disabled this just now and will see if this is causing any problems.

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is it being some kind of effect mod that isn't playing nicely with ArmA anymore.

Anyone had issues over the last few months? Any possible fixes? I can give a more detailed mod-list if anyone is interested, it's a bit big (which is a problem in and of itself, but they're sticklers for keeping it big, lol.)

Update - We've removed Bloodlust, and I believe we've still kept fragmentation off and this seems to have fixed most of the frame drops.

We may try re-enabling fragmentation, but for now we're just playing without.

Anyone else still having problems with other mods?

It turned out to be the issues yes, fragmentation in ace and bloodlust can cause issues. Try them both and see if it fixes the problem.
If you're not using those mods, then just disable any new ones or ones you think may be the problem
