[Solved]: Force steam to download Arma without DLC.

Hi guys, do anybody know, how to force steam to dovnload game without bought dlc? I bought Apex bud Arma 3 for linux can be run only with version 1.54 But steam automaticly download expansion even when Arma3LegacyPort option is choosed. And because of bugs i cannot run game :/

Can't you just right-click Arma 3 in the steam library proprieties -> DLC and uncheck Apex or more? Guess, that should work.

In properties is nothing like DLC page. I was looking for it (I thought it must be there) but I cannot find this page anywhere. Only dlc page i can find is one where you can buy dlc.

Strange, maybe not included in linux steam...
But should't you still be able to disable Apex in the game itself or can't you even get to that point?
Because if A3 wants to load it and you'd just delete it it won't work either :/

Unfortunately I cannot start game because of corrupted file (data file too short message) which is described. The problem is, that apex dlc force to download newer version than 1.54 I guess and every version after 1.54. is not compatible with linux.

There is a DLC view in the middle of your library when you click on the game, just untick the Apex item there.

I have got nothing as dlc view in the middle of library. I know there is something like that in windows version. Unfortunately in linux version it is not. Like Valve completely forgoten that linux players have dlc too :D

Try to install Arma 3 again with steamCMD this time, this "should" download it without any DLCs.

just instead of

app_update 233780 validate

you use

app_update 107410 -beta legacyports -betapassword Arma3LegacyPorts validate
