Please help an old Arma junkie. UNABLE TO INIT DXGI

I can't launch ARMA and yet I must!
I launch from the start menu and the game crashes back to that menu and I get this crash report error UNABLE TO INIT DXGI .
I have no option to roll back GPU versions, I verified game files.. still nothing. I DID commit the sin of Alt-tabbing while the game was launching and I heard that that can cause this but - I Still Don't KNOW WHAT TO DO! please help

Almost same issue but nothing helps.. tried the link solutions above and the BI forums .. it even isn't get into main menu or game stuck in main menu.. with or without mods.. after small changes sometimes it worked, but as soon as I tried a second time same issue.. deleted everything again and installing arma again.. but I did it twice already.

Reinstall just worked temporarily.. again same issues ..

Same for me, yesterday everything worked and today it's impossible to launch the game. It remains stuck in black screen
