Zeus Controls Locking Up

I've been having an issue the past few days where my about 80% of my Zeus controls lock up irreversibly. I can still hide and show the UI and change the vision mode, as well as chat to the server, but no camera controls work, mouse no longer works, escape key doesn't work, pressing Y doesn't work. Disabling mods didn't do anything. Game is still running in the background. Funny enough, the timer up top stops counting forward. Any ideas?

Incredibly late reply, but incase anyone else finds this post.

This seems to happen when you control AI gunners sometimes. Only way to fix it is to rejoin the server (ensuring your slot actually gets reset, not just reloading a save), if you're hosting locally in-game though you have to just restart the map entirely or you'll remain stuck.

A softlog will also fix it. If playing in MP. I had this issue a few times and fixed it by softlogging.
(To those who don't know, soft logging is essentially exiting back to the lobby of the session and then re-entering from the lobby, you never exit out entirely.)

the return of me I had this discussion subbed to and completely forgot about it

soft logging afaik doesn't work on locally hosted servers cus it sends everyone back to the lobby so no fix for those who don't wanna set up a dedicated server (completely understandable its a pain lol)

This is correct, softlogging will not work if you're the host of the server unless it's dedicated. As I said, you've gotta logout far enough that your slot in the server is reset and that doesn't happen if you're the host as it just saves the state rather than resetting it.
