0x0000 dead error...? HELP

I've tried everything, first I tried to delete temporary files (friends reccomended), then I re-installed the game. I've tried almost everything the guides to fixing it say and it still won't work. Is it linked to the fps drop or not?
WHAT HAPPENS:
I start up the game and click "play" in the small menu that opens it to the game. About 5 seconds later it crashes and says "memory error code 0x0000 dead). I got no clue what to do and I'm not the greatest with PC's so could someone PLEASE give me advice?

the whole thing sucks because I only just bought the marksman and helicopter DLC yesterday and havn't really experienced them... so I've probably just wasted £15...

I fixed it. forgot to say. If you switch profiles it should work.

Switch profiles, wouldn’t you have to buy the game again then?

No. You just create New profile with no progress, its like creating New profile on Xbox/ps or even windows
