how to lock-on with asraam missiles?

i can't lock on other air targets with the asraam missiles (trying to locking on jets from a helicopter). Locking on ground targets is not a problem only AA won't.

It's the AH-99 Blackfoot

The max range is only 1000 m, you may have to turn on your radar, try that with CTRL-R.
I haven't tested the asraam with the latest updates, but I know if worked to lock on jets before.

(Yes, I know that the asraam is an ir missile irl.)

i already tried to turn on radar and those jets flew by very near to me, so it shouldn't be a problem to lock on for the ir missiles but it just doesn't.

Also, you probably need a gunner in the heli, even when using manual fire.

My findings: It's possible to lock and shoot down jet planes if you have an AI gunner in the heli with you. Stealth versions are harder but still possible. I used manual fire, and a standard Blackfoot that comes with 4 AA missiles.

If you exec:
player setCaptive true;

while you play, they will never shoot back, easier to test that way.

To lock enemy air targets with Heli while having a gunner you need to press R instead of T
If you have AI gunner, T will mark a target instead of locking on, so use R key instead (already binded by default)
