(Resolved) Directional Sound Backwards

Using a Corsair HS40 headset with multiple mods on a multiplayer server, it seems like sounds which are to the left are coming out of the right ear, and vice-versa. Does anyone know of this issue and what could be causing it? Restarting the game and computer have not resolved the issue, and no, I am not wearing my headset backwards.

EDIT: Tests in Planet Coaster showed that this issue seems only prevalent in ARMA III. Either it is an issue with the game or an issue with the 18 mods I have installed (which are working fine for other people).

Are you sure that you're wearing it correctly xD?
But seriously, just go check your headset's software and see if some sort of virtual surround or channel inversion is active. I doubt that Arma is the issue here.

How would you check your headsets software? Where would I be able to find those options on my computer?

Well, if you're not even using it, I doubt that you messed around in it. Did you maybe use the Windows built-in surround sound option for headphones? If not, are you really sure that the sound is "backwards"?

I wasn't using the features beforehand, but I did just try using the built in surround sound. Didn't fix it.

And yes, I am certain that I am hearing the sound out of the wrong ears. I tossed a grenade then turned my head so that the right ear would be facing it. I heard it out of the left ear of my headset.

Right now I am opening up Planet Coaster to check if the issue has to do with ARMA or not.

Planet Coaster is working fine. I plopped a roller coaster down and positioned the camera to the left of it, and heard the train out of the left ear. I am now certain this is an ARMA III issue, either dealing with the game itself or with one of the installed mods. Which are, I should add, installed on everyone playing on the server I was on.

Ok, it is 100% a mod. Turning all the mods off made the sound work properly again

Ares Mod - Achilles Expansion was creating the issue. Not sure if it's in conjunction with stuff or not, but it was causing the issue for me. For those future people who view this thread.
