Arma 3
Trouble with Port Forwarding! Please help, photos included.
Hey guys im having one hell of a time figuring out this port forwarding stuff. Im simply trying to run my own server so that friends can join and play scenarios ive made or try out new mods/do missions together. However everytime i try to start my server it says port forwarding failed, i have checked and unchecked that box about upnp both have same result "Server not responding". So i did a bunch of googling and tried to do port fowarding but to no avail it still fails. Below ill add a bunch of snip its of my ipconfig and router info so that hopefully one of you smart guys can tell me where im screwing up at. Thanks ahead of time!

Here is my computers specs

Hopefully im not giving away too much personal info by showing you these snip its lol, but below is what my command prompt says when i type in ipconfig

Here is ports i tried forwarding, the last one upnp was a last ditch effort to figure out why it wasnt working.

Here are the devices connected to my router, My computer which has Arma of course is hard wired to a new Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri Band Netgear box, model R8000. This is in turn hard wired to another PC and comcast cable connection. My computer is the oddly named QRFCNOC. The others are laptops that are rarely plugged in and cell phones.

Other than this i saw upnp under adavanced so i took a snip it of what was already there.

Hopefully these photos will help someone tell me what i am doing wrong, im going crazy trying to figure this out. If theres anything odd you see or somethign i should keep hidden, please inform me. This is my first build and im no computer genius by any means. Thanks in advance for any help i appreciate it.

The forwarding is done correctly as far as i can tell (its 2302-2305,right? somehow the pics get blurry upon magnifying), ip adress in your LAN is right and the only thing i see missing in that screen is the PROTOCOL used (it needs to be UDP and not TCP) so maybe you´ll need to find the option to specify this in your router settings.

Maybe the reason UPnP is not working for you is the fact, that the service isn´t running in your current Windows setting. Hit "Win+R" on your keyboard, type "services.msc" and look for the "Universal Plug and Play" service, set it to Auto and start it by hand if its off. After that, UPnP should work natively and open up ports upon request so even if the regular Portforwarding fails, they get mapped via UPnP.

You were correct, my UPnP in Services.msc was set to Manual and it was off. So i changed it to Automatic. Now ill have ot wait until one of my buddies gets on to test it.
